Case Notes
This case features a 35-year-old female who underwent a breast lift (mastopexy) using the anchor technique, with results documented six months post-procedure. The pre-operative image demonstrates breast ptosis, with a lower position of the breast tissue and nipple-areola complex, while overall breast volume is maintained.
At six months post-operatively, the after image shows elevation of the breast tissue and repositioning of the nipple-areola complex to a more central and anatomically aligned position. The breast contour appears more defined, with improved symmetry and a firmer overall shape. The anchor technique allows for reshaping and lifting of the breast while preserving existing volume, resulting in a more structured and proportionate appearance. The lower pole appears more refined, and the transition from the chest wall to the breast mound is more balanced.
This case illustrates the anatomical changes achieved through mastopexy, highlighting repositioning and contour refinement without alteration in overall breast volume.
